What It Is

What Is Roof Rejuvenation?

Asphalt shingles are held together by oils. Pennsylvania sun, heat, and freeze-thaw winters slowly bake those oils out until the shingle stiffens, curls at the edges, and starts shedding the mineral granules that shield it from UV and rain. That is not a worn-out roof. It is a dried-out roof.

Our treatment is the first-of-its-kind, patent-pending corn-oil formula. A 95% USDA-certified bio-based rejuvenator that penetrates the shingle rather than coating it. It re-saturates the asphalt and restores the flexibility a newer shingle has. And in independent lab testing it outperformed the competing product on granule retention and cold-weather flexibility.

Each treatment is backed by our 5-year transferable warranty. With re-treatment every five years, many qualifying roofs gain 10-15 years of added service life.

Qualification

How to Know If Your Roof Qualifies

Good signs your roof qualifies

  • Asphalt shingle roof, roughly 6 to 20 years old
  • Dry, faded, or shedding granules. But still intact
  • No active leaks; shingles are present and not cracked
  • Structurally sound decking underneath

What disqualifies a roof

  • Active leaks or interior water damage
  • Missing, cracked, or badly curled shingles
  • Failing flashing or compromised decking
  • A roof at or past the end of its service life

We can only rejuvenate shingles that still have life left. Once a roof is ready for replacement, no treatment can bring those shingles back. The time to act is while yours still qualifies. Before it’s too late.

FAQ

The Six Questions Homeowners Ask Most

Does roof rejuvenation actually work?

Yes, for the right roof. Independent ASTM lab testing by PRI Asphalt Technologies found bio-based rejuvenation restored shingle flexibility and reduced granule loss by approximately 53% on 15-year-old shingles. It works on asphalt roofs 6-20 years old that are aging but still intact. It cannot save a roof that has already failed. See the evidence →

How much does roof rejuvenation cost?

Rejuvenation typically costs 80-85% less than a full roof replacement. Because size, pitch, and condition all affect the exact price, we quote after a free inspection so the number is real, not a guess. Rejuvenation vs. replacement →

How long does the warranty last?

Each treatment is backed by our 5-year transferable warranty. With periodic re-treatment every five years, many qualifying roofs gain 10-15 years of added service life. Up to 15 years of added service with multiple treatments. Full warranty terms →

What makes your treatment different?

Ours is the first-of-its-kind, patent-pending corn-oil formula. A 95% USDA-certified bio-based rejuvenator. Most competing products are soy-based. In independent lab testing the corn-oil rejuvenator outperformed the competing product on granule retention and cold-weather flexibility. Corn vs. soy →

Is my roof a good candidate?

Rejuvenation is best for asphalt shingle roofs roughly 6-20 years old that are aging but not physically damaged. It does not fix leaks, flashing, or missing or cracked shingles. We can only rejuvenate shingles that still have life left. Is it worth it for my roof? →

Will rejuvenation void my shingle warranty?

Our treatment penetrates the shingle rather than coating it, and we provide our own 5-year transferable warranty on the work. Because most shingle warranties are limited and prorated by age, we recommend confirming your specific manufacturer’s terms; we do not claim to override them. How our warranty relates to yours →
