The 5-Year Transferable Warranty
The full written terms of our roof rejuvenation warranty — what it covers, what it does not, how it transfers on sale of the home, and how to file a claim.
Last updated: August 2026
Every roof we treat is backed by our written, 5-year transferable warranty. It covers the rejuvenation treatment we apply for a full five years from the date of application, and transfers to a new owner if you sell the home within the warranty period.
Summary of coverage
- Term: 5 years from the date the treatment is applied.
- Transferable: passes to a new owner if the home sells during the warranty period.
- Scope: the rejuvenation treatment itself. Not a manufacturer shingle warranty and not a leak, wind, hail, storm, or installation-defect warranty.
- Product: approximately 95% USDA-certified bio-based corn-oil rejuvenator, spray-applied to qualifying asphalt shingles.
Who backs the warranty
The written product warranty is administered by our parent company, Roof Rejuvenate USA, which manufactures and stands behind the corn-oil rejuvenator applied to your roof. As an authorized dealer, Roof Rejuvenate Lancaster is your local point of contact for the inspection, the application, and any warranty question or claim.
At the time of service, every homeowner receives a written warranty certificate with the exact terms for their treatment. Keep that certificate with your other home records — you will need it if you file a claim, and the next owner will need it if you sell the home during the coverage period.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers the rejuvenation treatment itself for the full 5-year term — the workmanship of the application and the performance of the product on qualifying asphalt shingles that were confirmed as candidates at inspection.
What the warranty does not cover
Because rejuvenation is a treatment for aging shingles — not a repair, not a coating, not a waterproofing system — the warranty does not cover:
- Roof leaks, flashing failures, or water damage.
- Wind, hail, storm, ice-dam, or other weather damage.
- Missing, cracked, or curled shingles, or damage from foot traffic or fallen trees.
- Damage caused by other contractors working on the roof after our treatment.
- Anything covered by your shingle manufacturer’s own warranty — that warranty remains between you and the manufacturer.
How the warranty transfers when you sell your home
The warranty is transferable to a subsequent property owner if you sell your home during the coverage period. Provide the new owner with your original warranty certificate and let us know the sale has happened; the remaining warranty period continues under the same terms.
