Rejuvenation & Your Shingle Warranty
Our 5-year transferable warranty, and honest guidance on how the treatment relates to your manufacturer's terms.
Last updated: August 2026
Our treatment penetrates the shingle rather than coating it, and we provide our own 5-year transferable warranty. Because most manufacturer shingle warranties are limited and prorated by age and cover manufacturing defects only, we recommend confirming your specific manufacturer's terms — and we can contact them on your behalf as a courtesy. We do not claim to override manufacturer terms.
How does rejuvenation relate to my shingle warranty?
Two separate things are at play, and we keep them separate on purpose:
- Our warranty — a 5-year transferable warranty we provide on the treatment we perform.
- Your manufacturer's shingle warranty — the warranty that came with your shingles, which we don't control and don't speak for.
Our rejuvenant penetrates the shingle rather than coating it. Even so, we won't make blanket claims about your manufacturer's warranty, because those terms vary by brand and by the age of your roof.
What do manufacturer shingle warranties usually cover?
Generally, most manufacturer shingle warranties are limited and prorated by age and cover manufacturing defects only — not normal wear, drying out, or weather-related aging. That's a big reason rejuvenation exists: it addresses the age-related loss of flexibility that a defect warranty typically doesn't. Read the honest evidence on our does it work? page.
What does our 5-year transferable warranty cover?
Our 5-year transferable warranty covers:
- The rejuvenation treatment we perform and the restored shingle flexibility it provides
- A full 5 years from the date of treatment
- Transfer to a new owner if you sell your home, which can help at resale
It is separate from — and does not replace — your manufacturer's shingle warranty. We provide it in writing so you can review the terms before you decide. Because no long-term independent field study yet proves a specific number of added years, this concrete written warranty is how we put our commitment on paper rather than quoting a lifespan number.
Will you help me confirm my manufacturer's terms?
Yes. As a courtesy we can contact your shingle manufacturer on your behalf to help you confirm your specific warranty terms. We recommend doing this before treatment so you have the full picture. We won't speak for the manufacturer or claim to override their position — we'll just help you get the facts.
How do I verify contractor and warranty details in PA?
You can verify a Pennsylvania contractor's registration and ask consumer questions by calling the PA Bureau of Consumer Protection consumer line at 1-888-520-6680. For more on cost and value, see our cost page and rejuvenation vs. replacement.
